The presented three schemes illustrate the transformation of a cottage between 1950 and the present day.
Starting from the left side of the building, the main entrance remained the same through the years. However, nowadays there is also the reception of the musium. In 1950 in the upper left corner the lounge was located, then in 1970 it was converted into a reception and an office, and now the museum shop takes their place. Currently, the lower left corner is used as kitchen, as well as previous years.
Looking at the middle part of the plan more closely, the garden entrance and the dinning room were untouched. On plans of house and museum the music room and the living room can be seen, while during language school times they were occupied by classroms. Morover, a patio was added to the courtyard.
The spacious library from 1950 was divided into three extra classrooms in 1970 and only one of them was also used as a library. Today, two classrooms were combined together with a small corridor to form a temporary exhibition space.
