The map illustrated how the ground floor of a library modified between 2001 and 2009.
Overall, it is apparent that there were many changes in these maps after 8 years, excepted for the area near the entrance. The long row in the west of the plans and fiction’s position in the North of this row were supplanted by a combination of many small rooms and tables in turn. Additionally, central tables were reorganised and the appearance of technology developments was quite noticeable.
In the west of the maps in 2009, adjacent rooms for variouus fields superseded the group of self-help and history. Next to law, a part of that group, was a large area for tables, which used to be the position of fiction 8 years ago. In the middle of these maps, centra; tables were changed in term of organisaton, from 4 small groups to 2 big groups with longer length. Looking at the blank area between central tables and northern tables, a new children’s area was constructed.
To the east of the innermost tables, the position for newspaper and periodicals was substituted by modern entertaining equipment, which were films and DVDs. The only area that reminded unchanged over the period of 8 years was the entrance. Library’s desk and stairs witnessed no modification, while being opposite them, computers were newly sprung up.
