The diagrams demonstrate how the current design of a university’s sports center will change in the future.
Overall, the sports center will witness significant modernizations, including the demolition of outdoor courts and the addition of many new facilities. Additionally, it will offer attendees a wider range of sports options in the future compared to its present availability.
At the moment, there is a large building located in the center, where most sports activities occur. Specifically, a 25-meter-long pool is situated in the middle of the building, along with a gym section to the north and changing rooms to the west. Moreover, a seating section is built to the east of the pool, while the reception area is located on the south side. Notably, there are two large-scale outdoor courts next to the building, which allow for more natural exposures.
Regarding its future alterations, the center will change its focus to indoor refurbishment, with the enlargement of the complex covering the whole area, necessitating the destruction of two courts outside. Furthermore, although current facilities will remain, a number of new amenities will be added. These additions include a leisure pool, a changing room, and a sports shop to the west, while a sports hall, a cafe, changing rooms, and two dance studios will be established on the other side.
