The pictures demonstrates the difference between the structure of a university’s sport building now, and the future look of it after its renovation.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the 25-meter pool, the reception and the seating area will remain the same. On the other hand, the outdoor courts on either side are eliminated.
Regarding the renovation, a leisure pool is newly built to the far west of the original pool, in the place of the outdoor playgrounds, while the outdoor courts on the other side is replaced by a sports hall, and also the two dance studios to the Far Eastern side of the centre are newly added.
For the south western side of the sports centre, there is a second smaller changing room than the original one that was built on the near western border of the 25-meter pool ,and a sports shop, and on its opposite side in the southeastern side, there is a similar room for changing clothes as well as a cafe. Moreover, the gym is having an extension to the east side, reaching one of the dance studios.
