The pictures illustrate a map of Beechwood Farm in 1950 and how it looks like today.
In 1950, there was a main road in the northwestern side of the farm, with a river going beneath the main road and running all the way to the southeast corner of the farm. A track was extended perpendicularly from the main road, and it formed a triangle in the center of the farm, ending in the east direction. A large area in the northern section of the farm is used for sheep. The fruit trees were next to the main road and the river, with a section of soft fruits beside it, and the vegetables were on the right side of the soft fruits. Between the track and the river on the eastern side, there was a barn, a farmhouse, and an area for chickens (going from north to south respectively).
For today, the main road and the river remains in the same place as 1950. A road is in the place of the track, but the shapes are very similar. The camping field and solar panels occupied the area for sheep, with a section for parking next to the main road and the small road, and another one is located in the eastern side above the small road. Fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetables did not move, but there is a farm shop inside the area for fruit trees now. The barned is under the triangle of the small road today, with holiday cottages replacing its original position. Lastly, the farmhouse and the chickens are still in the same place as 1950.
