The given pictures illustrate the disparity of two given maps, which show the same place but in 1950 and now.
Overall, it can be noted that the land called Beechwood Farm, which is exemplifying at two pictures, developped greatly. The area has become an object of urban development example, as now it is more convinient for tourism and local people at the same time, while it used to be useful only for agri-cultural activities.
In 1950, the area for sheep breeding took significant place at the whole farm. In addition, there used to be a track that used to divide the place to the southern and northern parts. The southern part was dedicated for farmers’ usage, as the area was separated into fruit trees, soft fruits, vegetables, location for chicken breeding and barn.
Now, the same place turned to a well-developped touristic area with its own amusements such as holiday cottages, camping field and farm shop. The track now is called a road, which has few parking spots for cars. Whereas the bigger barn which was located at the eastern part is located at the inner corner of the road and also has become smaller in size. Special locations for fruits and vegetables did not changed since 1950.
