The image depicts two maps of Porth Harbour, one from the year 2000 and the other showing its current state. In 2000, the north side of the harbour features a car park, fish market, and fishing boats. Moving eastward, there is a marina office near the parking area and a public parking area adjacent to it. A road runs alongside the harbour, leading to a lifeboat station next to Castle and a passenger terminal located at the northeast edge near the dock. In the current map, the layout has been significantly altered; the car park has been converted into a car park & flats, the fish market into a fishing boats section, the marina office and public parking area remain, and showers & toilets have been added nearby. Further changes include the replacement of the passenger terminal with a cruise ship, while the road now leads to a large hotel in place of the lifeboat station. The current map also shows the inclusion of a café & shops near what used to be the Passenger terminal. The Castle remains unchanged in its position.
