The maps illustrate images of the TV centre 10 years ago and after a decade.
Overall, noticeable changes happened in the TV centre; the office and canteen were converted into other places. Moreover, the make-up and dressing rooms were decreased in size over the period.
Looking at the details 10 years ago, the make-up and dressing rooms were located on the north-west side of the map, and the reception was opposite the dressing room next to the corridor. The car park was at the bottom side, which stretched from west to east. It can be observed that two offices and a studio were sited at the centre. The scenery and costume rooms were situated on the north-east side. In contrast, an office, canteen, office, studio and waiting rooms were located opposite the former rooms. Finally, a green space full of trees was seen on the east side.
Regarding today’s TV centre structure, several alterations occurred, with the make-up and dressing rooms halving in size. Additionally, the canteen and office behind the car park were converted into other places. Notably, although the studio and canteen were enlarged, the waiting, scenery and costume rooms were reduced in size. By comparison, the green area, which was full of trees, was removed and the car park took its place.
