The illustrations present initial ground floor plan of the library in 2001 and reconstructed plan in 2009.
Overall, it can be seen that west side of the library floor was filled with more genres by 2009 as well as new zone for children. Additionally, individual tables in the past were joined and newspaper and periodicals were replaced by films and DVDS.
For the southwest part of the plan, self-help and history shelves were squeezed and next to them appeared new genres including kitchen, economics, and law. While librarian’s desk did not change its location at the south corner, entrance shifted slightly west, changing its initial postition from the middle south corner.
First of all, as the previous fiction shelf was moved to the left side from the north corner, novel children’s books appeared on that shelf as well as youngster’s zone right below them. Moreover, previously separetad tables had joined in the new plan, creating more opportunities for joint studies for visiters. Following the integtarions, computers appeared at the blank zone between stairs and huge rack. That same rack at the east corner also changed its contents: now storing DVDs and films, rather than newspapers and periodicals.
