The picture informs about how the appearance of the ground floor in the library differ before in 2001 and after development in 2009.
Overall, the whole floor was transformed in more technological issues and the number of the workplace was increased. Notably, were added more categories of books.
In 2001, the floor was focused on effectiveness rather on diversity. In the center of the floor were located eight small single tables to the left of which located newspaper and periodicals. In the left side of the tables were located the self help and history categories. On the top of the picture, opposite from librarian’s desk and entrance, there was a fiction category.
In 2009, the map totally changed. The small single tables were replaced by the big unite four tables, the newspapers were changed to Film and DVDS. On that the digitalizing does not stopped, on the left side of the films were added two computers. On the left side of the picture were added such categories as, kitchen, economics and low. In the same were moved the fiction category, which previously was in the top of the map. Now, on the top, the children category was added. However, the botom of the map stayed untouched.
