The plan shows how ground floor of the library changes within 8 years. Overall, the ground floor has seen significant replacements and conversions although few parts remained unchanged over the period between 2001 and 2009.
In 2001, there was one fiction sector which was situated in north part of the building whereas, history and self help sectors were located west part of the floor. In south part of the floor Librarian’s desk and entrance were located, with stairs in the south east of the floor. Newspaper and periodicals were located at south with small eight tables opposite of them.
Whereas, in 2009, the fiction sector turned into zone for children’s books with children are in front of it. History and self help zones were divided into six small rooms with four new sectors that are fiction, kitchen, economics, and law while entrance, Librarian’s desk, and entrance kept without changes. Newspaper and periodicals zone was replaced with films and DVDs and in the south part of it Computers were put while the tables were replaced with the larger ones.
