The illustration shows how chocolate is produced from ripe red pods.
Overall, it is a linear process consisting of three main stages: harvesting, preoaring for transportation and in factory activities.
The first step is when pods are ripe and ready to harvest. Usually, cacao trees are grown in South America, Africa and Indonesia. In second stage, relaesed white cocoa beans are put into bowes where they are fermented. After fermenting stage, beans are spread in sun, so it could dry. Then, dried cocoas are put in large sacks i norder to preparing them to transportation.
In sixth step, sacks are loaded the train or lorry and directly delievered to factory, where beans are roasted at 350 degrees. Before pressing inner part of beans, they are either crushed and their outer shell is removed. Finally, in pressing stage, liquid chocolate is produced.
