The diagram demonstrates the procedure of making two types of pu-erh tea.
Overall, the initial steps are similar for both pu-erh ripe tea and pu-erh raw tea. After the process of drying under the sun, the process splits into two routes. One route leads to ripe pu-erh tea, while another results to aged raw pu-erh tea.
At the beginning of the system, fresh leaves are picked to fry in a pan. Following this, the fried leaves are rolled before being dried under the sun light. Once this stage is completed, loose raw tea that was manufactured divides into two processes.
The loose raw tea experince an early compression, and the raw pu-erh tea is produced. Then, it goes through storage aging, resulting aged raw pu-erh tea. On the contrary, to produce a ripe pu-erh tea, the loose ripe tea is created bt fermanting loose raw tea. Afterwards, the process undergoes late compression. Finally, the ripe pu-erh tea is produced.
