The pie charts display the differentiation within different types of energy consumption in the UK between 2000 and 2010. Overall,the largest share belonged to coal, while the smallest portion was recorded for other energy.
In 2000, the most dominant category was coal accounting for 30,0%. The second largest figure was gas represented 29,5%.In addition, petrol was close to gas, reached 29,0%. In contrast, solar represented only 6,5%, making it one of the most smallest figure. By comparison, other had the least significant share among all categories.
In 2010, coal had the highest figure and it increased to 31,0%. Gas also went up slightly to 30,0%. By contrast, petrol decreased significantly to 20,0%. However, the least energy resources rose incredibly. For instance, solar increased gradually to 10,0%. Other energy resources climbed to 9,0%.
