Looking at the details,in Central Asia the usage of water for agriculture accounts for 88%.Similarly,water is used for that purpose in Africa,South East Asia,and Central Asia making up 84%,81% and 88%,respectively.Additionally,the one of the highest percentage of water consumption for industrial purposes is 48% in Europe,followed by North America(53%).However,in other parts of Earth water is consumed lower with 7%,5% and 12% in Africa,Central Asia and South East Asia,respectively.
By contrast,for domestic purposes water consumption is lower compared to other purposes.In Central Asia it is similar to the percentage of water usage in South East Asia with 7% which is the lowest among other regions of world.The highest proportion for domestic is 19% in South America,followed by Europe with 15%.
