Overall, men dedicate more time to entertainment and physical activities, whereas women spend more time on indoor activities, such as reading. Additionally, women are the ones who spend more time on household chores, especially cooking and washing, while men get more involved in reparing work.
Regarding leisure activities, both men and women show a strong interest in watching TV and listening to radio, devoting 137 and 118 minutes each day on these activities, respectively. In contrast, reading is much less popular, with only 18 and 19 minutes spent on this activity by men and women, respectively. Similarly, sports are by far the least favourite. While men allocate 15 minutes per day to play sports, women only spend 11 minutes.
With repsect to household activities, most of household chores are conducted by women, except for repair. Cooking and washing are the dominant activities on which women spend approximately 75 minutes each day, whereas men spend a significant lower amount of time, only around 35 minutes. Shopping came next, with 35 minutes spent on this activity by women, closely followed by 25% minutes they spend on clothes washing and ironing. Conversely, men show a greater engagement in reparing work. While men devote roughly around 20 minutes to reparing, women only spend 10 minutes.
