The Table and Bar chart compares the time that men and women spent on their leisure time and household activities in 2008.
Overall, both women and men mostly spent time by TV, radio and video im comparison with reading and sport. Moreover, women spent more time by cooking and washing dishes rather than men. In contrast, men more engaged in repairing. Finally, as is illustrated amount of time that women spent on leisure time is visibly less than that of men, which perhaps could be due to the engagement women in housework.
According to the Table chart, both genders spent a lot of time by watching TV, video and radio, men waste approximately 137 minutes, women 128 minutes. The amount of minutes that genders spent daily on reading is equally same, around 18-19 minutes. Men spent more time (15 minutes) for sport rather than women (11 minutes).
As for household activities, the amount is noticeably different. It is obvious that women spent more time (around 75 minutes) on cooking and washing dishes rather than men (30 minutes), it could be due to inability men to do it. There was almost the balanced number of minutes that genders spent daily on shopping, approximately 20-30 minutes. Repairing was not only the least type of housework, albeit it is the field where men outpaced women for 10 minutes. There was a noticeable difference between genders for clothes washing and ironing, women waste 30 minutes, while men spent only 10 minutes.
