The table and bar graph illustrate how much time was spent on leisure and household activities by men and women in 2008.
Overall, both genders engaged in leisure pursuits such as watching TV, videos, and radio. Women spent more time on cooking and washing dishes compared to men. Repairing was the least household activity for both genders.
While looking at the table in more detail, men spent almost 20 minutes longer (137 minutes) than women (118 minutes). Sport was the least in leisure activity with men spending 15 minutes relative to only 11 minutes for women. Reading, however, showed almost no difference between the two genders.
Turning to the bar chart, the most noticeable difference was in cooking and washing dishes, with women spending about 75 minutes daily, approximately twice as much as men. Repairing spent around 15 minutes for females and about 18 minutes for men. Women dedicated more time to clothes washing and ironing (25 minutes) while men allocated (16 minutes).
