In terms of the sources behind the police budget, the National Government contributes 175.5 million in 2017 and gives more than a million greater than the previous year, which is 177.8 million, making it the biggest resource of the overall budget. On the other hand, the amount given by the local taxes was 102.3 million in 2018, which is 10 million higher than the previous year.
Regarding the distribution, more than half of the total funds accounted for salaries in both given years, with three quarters in 2017 and slightly decreased to 69% in the next year. On the other hand, only 17% and 8% from the total funds allocated for technology, buildings and transport purposes in 2017. Furthermore, the amount of funds given for technology increased to 14% in 2018, while the total spent on buildings and transportation remained unchanged.
