The table and line graph illustrate information about the number of people of all ages who visit the cinema in Auckland from 1995 to 2003.

Overall, from the table, it is clear that the highest proportion of the population visited the cinema in 2001 whereas that of the other three years (1997,1999,2003) were equal. However, the percentage of the population visiting to cinema was the lowest in 1995. From the second chart, in the line graph, it is clear that the average number of different age groups was for people who were under 24 years old in 1997 and the lowest number was for 50 years old in 1999.

In 2001, the percentage of the population who visited the cinema accounted for 80% and the average number of people who visited the cinema was about 8.4 which included people who were above 50 years old.

In the three years 1997, 1999 and 2003 the percentage of the population which visited from cinema was equal to around 72% which the average number of cinema visitors in 1997 was 11.2 which they are between 14 to 24 years old, however, this average number saw a minimal decrease around 7.3 for people who were 50 years old in 1999. additionally, the average number of cinema visits was about 8.3 in 2003, which means that the number of people who visited the cinema was above 50 years old.

In 1995, the percentage of the population who visited the cinema accounted for 67%, followed by the average number of people who visited the cinema was about 10.3 which consisted of people in three age groups from 14 years old to under 49 years old.
