The data shows the population distribution of in Australia of different nationalities namely British, Dutch, Chinese, New Zealander, of course, Australians, and the proportion of residents between the city centre and the countryside regions.
Overall, it is evident that Australian citizens are the majority followed closely by other nationalities other than the countries mentioned above. However, the Dutch represent the least number of people. Notably, both local and foreigners, most preferred to live in the city centre as opposed to the countryside.
While the citizens of Australia were the biggest group in proportion, making up to 73%, other nationalities scooped 14%, and Britain and New Zealand nationals well represented with 7% and 3% respectively. The least of the population were Chinese with 2% as well as Dutch with 1%.
Regardless of Chinese making up to 2% of the total households, most preferred to live in urban areas with 99% as opposed to 1% of them. Compared to others, the rural areas were most occupied by the Australians at 20%, followed by Dutch at 17% and the least being Chinese speakers with 1%
