The given graph illustrates the time people spend on waiting for transport in various cities, from small to big ones, in the period between 1985 and 2015. Besides, further predictions for 2025 are made.
Overall, there is a tendency of raising hours’ delay from 1985 up to 2005 in the cities of all sizes in appropriate proportions, then there starts a certain decline which is supposed to continue till 2025.
Basing on given statistics, the biggest waiting periods for transport are seen in metropolis, where in 1985 this number was 19 hours and rose significantlyo its maximum level of 60 hours in 2005, then fell to the point of 50 hours in 2015. Furthermore, all cities with the population less than 3 million experienced an increase in the time spent on waiting which constituted about 10 percentage points from 1985 to 1995 and from 1995 to 2005 respectively. It was then followed by a decline of up to 10 percentage points till 2015 in all the inhabited areas.
Moreover, considering the predicted figures in the year 2025, it can be stated that the time of latency, which is spent by users of transport, will continue to decrease and will stay at the average level of the figures of all the previous time periods given.
