Overall, it can be seen that the vast majority of tourists were from Asian countries. On average, Russian tourists spent the longest time and Australian ones distributed the most money(in US dollars), whereas Cambodians had the least number of tourists, days and dollars spent.
Regarding tourists number, China headed the list with 1,453,798 people. Second were estimated to be Koreans with 987,635, which was almost twofold more than Japan tourists comprising 571,000. The next came American tourists with 404,875. Russians were the fifth in the list accounting for 275,082, slightly more than Australian and British people with 243,897 and 214,937, respectively. The bottom of the list was calculated to be Cambodia with 187,986 tourists.
Turning to the average number of days spent, Russians were at the top of the list with 17.8 days. Next came Australian and Chinese tourists with 12.8 and 12.2, respectively. They were followed by Japans 11.3 and Koreans with 10.9 days. Cambodians constituted 3.2, which was not nearly as many days as Americans with 6.1 and Britains with 5.9.
