Overall,it is clear that reading as a hobby was the most popular among both rural and urban adults in both years.Taking up photography grew significantly for countryside and slightly for urban adults.The other hobbies grew or declined slightly or remained the same across the timespan.
To begin,reading was the most participated spare time activity for adults,with 61% for rural and 71% for urban adults in 1990.In 2010 this number increased for both adults,remaining 78% for both sides.Animated play accounted one in ten for rural and 18% for urban adults in 1990.Within 2 decades this portion did not change for rural and dropped slightly at 14% for urban adults.
As regards playing,it was second most popular hobby,making up one in five for rural and one in four for urban adults in 1990.In 2010 the fraction of rural adults dropped in this activity and for urban adults it stayed the same.Taking up photography drew up 7% for rural and 14% for urban adults in 1990.In 2010 the fraction grew adding 10% for both sides.
