The table chart compares authority expenses, in percentage, of five different national policy related sectors in three nations, namely Germany, Italy, and the UK in 2009.
It is evident that while Health allocated for the majority of expenditure in both Germany and the UK, it was Public services that took up the most in Italy. Additionally, Environmental protection remained the least focused sector across all countries.
Regarding Germany and Italy’s spending, the two most prioritized sectors were Public services and Health, with the former ranging from 6.6% to 8.6% and the latter between 7.1% and 7.5% for each country. Moreover, similar characters were observed in the allocation of Economic affairs and Education, with all figures around 4% to under 5%, while Environmental protection contributed for just nearly 1% in both nations.
Turning to the remaining country, Health and Education, at 7.8% and 6.4%, respectively, were the UK’s primary spending in domestic policy, which were also the highest among the three nations. Finally, both Public services and Economic affairs accounted for over 4%, and Environmental protection for precisely 1%.
