The table provides information about the percentage of management positions held by women in four different industries in a European country in 2006, namely finance, manufacturing, hospitality, and intelligence technology.
Overall, it is clear that women represented all of four industries, becoming less in senior positions. It is also noticeable that hospitality, meanwhile, was the highest level of almost three categories, that of manufacturing was the lowest level.
Looking at the chart more closely, one can see that hospitality was almost one-third in managers, and remarkably, with the presence of executives and CEOs made up around 20%. Manufacturing, in contrast, always under ten percent, accounted for 9% in managers, was around 2% in executives and just 1.21% in CEOS, becoming less by far for senior positions.
For finance and IT having the same position in managers, comprising around 16% in both. With the former in executives, with the share was less under 5%, accounted for less three-bolds versus IT. Similarly, with the latter in CEOs, IT was as fifth as Finance, with nearly 7%.
