Overall, it is clear that cars always had the highest figures for transportation chosen by most people over the 30 years. On the other hand, the number of adults deciding to travel by bike recorded the lowest position in both 1977 and 2007.
In 1977, cars were the most used type of transportation, with an average distance of 3500 traveled yearly, and increased significantly to 7100 in 2007 while the number of people using taxis to travel saw a noticeable growth from 200 to 800, similarly. The opposite was true for walking and bicycles, dropped by 100 and 20, respectively. In addition, the figure for motorbikes used to travel by young people recorded a gradual decline from 100 to 90 in 1977 and 2007. The year 1977 witnessed a myriad number of adults traveling by public transport namely trains and buses with starting points at 900 and 800 in that order, however in the final year of the survey, a minimal rise to 1000 was seen in the number of people went by trains. In contrast, bus travel experienced a decline of 300 in 2007.
