The table depicts the average yearly spending of university students in country A, B and C.
It is apparently evident that students in country A have the highest total spending. In addition, students in all countries tend to spend most of their budget on food and accommodation.
The total amount of money spent annually by country A’s students is 5000 dollars, followed by that of country B (4500 dollars). By contrast, students in country C only pay the total of 1500 dollars, becoming the lowest figure. In terms of accommodation, the figure for country A is nearly a half, being much higher than the percentages of country B (35%) and C (30%). Concurrently, students in country C spend the largest budget on food, at 36%, followed by the figures for country A and B at 22% and 26%, respectively.
Regarding the remaining categories, the average annual spending on books by country C’s students makes up 21%, while those of country A and C is significantly lower, at only 3% and 9%. The figures for country A and B related to leisure are relatively equal, compared to the proportion of country C, at 12%. The “other” section is the least favourable option, accounting for only below 10% for all countries.
