Overall, it is evident that the amount of tax in all countries experienced an upward trend to varying degrees. Moreover, it was in Sweden where its amount was the highest.
Looking at the high amount of taxes , in Sweden was 46% at first and then increased drastically to 70% in the end. Additionally, the amount of tax collected in the USA started at 25.1%, making it the second highest figure. Thereafter, its amount went up slightly to 27.4% in 2005.
As for the remaining countries, the amount of tax in Korea was at 15.1% initially, and then grew sharply to 27% in 1985. The figure dropped marginally by 26 percent point before recovering to 27.3% by the end of the period. In addition, the amount of tax in Japan and Turkey began at 15% and 16.4%, respectively. The former rose significantly to 32.1% and the latter went up notably to 27.4% during the whole period.
