The tablet provides data on the percentages of employment in six sectors alongside the income of fresh graduates in an Australian university. Overall, the employment rate among health graduates was the highest, while the highest salaries were for law and engineering graduates.
In 2009, 93% of the graduates who studied health were employed, with an average salary of 42,000 dollars. Whereas, students of law and engineering schools had a comparable percentage of employment and the same annual salary of 59,000 dollars.
Regarding studying business, 78% of the graduates got jobs with a considerable income of 52,000 dollars a year. Similarly, students of arts and social science were hired at a rate of 72% and earned around 50,000 dollars per year. In contrast, the employment rate among science graduates was the lowest at 62% alongside the lowest salary at $39,000.
Notably, all percentages and numbers are close among the categories mentioned. However, science education had the lowest rate of employment and was the least profitable.
