The table compares the number of employees in nine different sectors according to their age, which is divided into three age groups.
Overall, retail jobs attracted younger workers between 18 and 25 years old compared to the older groups, while accountancy was the least attractive profession for the three age groups. Middle aged and older workers between 25 and 40 years old and 40 and 65 respectively, preferred manufacturing professions.
Accountancy is the least wanted profession regardless of the age of the employees, with only 3 workers from the youngest and oldest age groups cach and 2 worker from the middle aged group. Law related jobs were the second most repelling jobs with four employees choosing them from each age group.
Both manufacturing and health positions were preferred be the workers aged between 25 and 40 years, with 15 employees choosing each profession. Some prosessions were only coosen the most by certain age group, like retail which was choosen by the majority of the youngest age group with 23 workes, and manufacturing, being choosen by the majority of the oldest age group with 23 employees. While some professions were preferred by the two older groups, for example, both of the older groups showed interest in teaching jobs with 12 employees choosing them from each group.
