Overall, it can be seen that manufacturing was the most popular job among people over 25 years old, while accountancy had the lowest rate of workers in all age groups.
In the age group of 18-25, the number of workers working in retail accounted for the highest proportion 23%, which was 2% higher than the figures for other sectors. Only 3-4% of young people worked in accountancy and law.
Regarding the 25-40 age group, the percentage of workers who are employed in other occupations was 18%, while manufacturing and health shared equal rates of 15% of employers. The least popular figure was accountancy, which made up a minor of only 2% of employers.
People aged 40-65 tended to work in manufacturing with 23%, followed by local government, at 18%. Similar to the previous two age groups, law continued to hold the lowest position in the table with 3% of seniors working in.
