The table chart provides information about expenditure of clients in 5 countries (Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Turkey) across three categories: food/drinks/tobacco, clothing/footwear and leisure/education.
Overall, it is evident that the spending on food/drinks/tobacco was the highest category in all 5 countries while leisure/education represents the smallest share. Turkey had the highest proportion of spending food/drinks/tobacco, whereas, Sweden spent the least on this category. Meantime, expenditure on clothing/footwear varied more moderately, with leading of Italy country, while spending on leisure/education was relatively similar across the countries.
Looking at the details, Turkey recorded the largest expenditure on food/drinks/tobacco at 32.14%, followed by Ireland at 28.91%, Sweden spent only 15.77% on this category, the lowest among the all 5 countries. In the meantime, for clothing and footwear, Italy had the highest expenditure at 9%, while Sweden again recorded the lowest, at 5.40%.
On the other hand, spending on leisure and education was the lowest category in all 5 countries. Turkey allocated the most highest on this category, at 4.35%, in contrast Spain spent the least, at 1.98%. Interestingly, Italy and Sweden had similar proportions, at 3.20% and 3.22%, respectively, but Italy spent significantly more on others 2 categories.
