The table shows information about food consumption in a European country between the years 1992 and 2012. The numbers are measured per person per week in grams.
Overall, a consistent increase was experienced in meat and most vegetables, with outstandingly high numbers during the period. Wheat, bean and cheese consumption also witnessed a constant increase, but much lower than those mentioned earlier. Despite lower numbers, almost every product exhibited an increase.
Meat and vegetables were the top-ranking products by showing higher figures throughout the period. Starting at 2140 in 1992 and ending up at 2220 in 2012, overall 80 grams rise experienced in vegetables consumption. Similarly, meat also showed an increase during 1992 and 2012, but slightly fell off to 1132 in 2012.
In contrast, the remaining food products had much smaller numbers. A stable increase was seen by wheat with beginning 837 in 1992 and finishing 977 in 2012. Additionally, bean also showed overall rise at starting 532 and ending at 590 between the years 1992 and 2012. Unfortunately, cheese bucked the ending trend at starting 113 grams in 1992 and remaining 125 in both 2002 and 2012.
