The table compares different age ranges in terms of a research on their preference for six TV programs in a European country in 2012. Overall, features films and sports made up a major part of the percentages, while the reverse is true for TV dramas. Of particular note is the proportion of cartoons which hit a high record in catching attention throughout the aged 11-15.
Focusing on the highest trend, features films and sports, which were attractive programs for all of the age groups in question, accounted for 18% and 22% in aged 11-15, 23% and 18% in the group of 15-20, and 20% and almost the same of this in 21-25, respectively. As for cartoon, 29% of young people aged 11-15 watched it, a figure that was higher than the proportion of the age groups of 15-20 and 21-25, which were a relative 18% and a mere 4%, comparatively
Looking at least-liked TV programs, news and soap operas were considered parity with each other when it comes to the sum of percentages. The former owned a negligible 6% in the age of 11-15, which was 11% less compared to soap operas, while the age range of 15-20 tended to like news program due to its rate that was a noticeable 19%, and was 7% more than the proportion of soap operas. The latter was 19% in the age of 21-25, which was 4% less than that of news.With regard to TV dramas, it was the least-watched TV program, with the aged 11-15 paying attention of 8%, the group of 15-20 10%, and that of 21-25 13%, respectively.
