The table shows the percentage of five different types of TV programs watched by people aged 11-21. Overall, while cartoons and sports accounted for high percentages, with cartoons having the highest, people aged 11-15 were particularly interested in news. It is also worth mentioning that feature films and sports followed approximately similar patterns.
Turning to the details, conversely, cartoons emerged as dominant, at 29%, compared to 22% for sports, which was the runner-up. When it comes to feature films and soap operas, both had similar percentages of 17-18% each. The same pattern was observed for news and TV dramas, with news at just 6%, whereas TV dramas were slightly higher at 8%.
As for people aged 15-20, sports accounted for the highest percentage of their time (23%). Moreover, cartoons, news, and sports remained at roughly similar percentages of around 18%. Soap operas and TV dramas were the least popular programs for them, with respective figures of 12% and 10%.
Thanks to their age, they became more interested in feature films, sports, and news, which had roughly similar percentages of 20%, 21%, and 23%, respectively. Again, TV dramas and soap operas were runners-up, at 13% and 19%, while cartoons accounted for only one-third of TV dramas (4%).
