Looking first at the professional sector, while men had the highest income at 2000$ compared to all figures in the chart, the sector witnessed the least earning disparity between genders, with women at 1900$. In contrast, The Service men workers’ earnings exceeded those of women workers by a margin of 50%, with 1400$ and 900$, respectively.
The average salary in Administrative/clerical workers was significantly lower, with the respective figures being only $1350 for men and $1000 for women. A comparable pattern was observed among service workers, where men’s earnings stood at $1,300, while women’s were $950 – a disparity of $350. Finally, manual laborers had the least income across all occupations. Particularly, while men earned $1100 per week, women even received a lower amount of $250, making it the least income ($850) across all figures.
