The table chart is showing how many people were joined in seven different sports in an European country from 1999 to 2009.
Overall, the football has the greatest figure of joining, whereas golf was not famous to join in Europe. Another interesting point is that people’s interest in tennis, golf, yoga were increasing day bay day.
According to the chart, Tennis was made up with 25%, whereas Swimming was 32% in 1999. As for Tennis, the percentage increased rapidly for the next two given years, but the same can not be said for Swimming, which increased at 34% and remained stable until the end. After that, Football started with 57% and then there was a mild decrease in 2004 & 2009. Moreover, a slight increase was observed in Golf from 8% to 17% in the given years.
In contrast, Volleyball made up with 17% and increased at 18 % until the end. As for Basketball, the proportion of people joining started with 26% and saw a decrease at 24% in 2009. In addition, Yoga was remain stable at 10% in 1999 and 2004 and then was observed an increase at 13% in 2009.
