The tables delineate the number of students in UK, categorized by mode of studying and gender.
Overall, the data reveals that male postgraduate students were dominant in studying for both full-time and part-time learning. But after a while, female students started to outperform men in distribution of students, who are studying in UK university, espessially in part-time mode.

In contrast, women had smaller number and comprised 62.344 and 85.215, respectively. However, the reverse trend was observed in next years, where females started showing an upward trend, so in 2005/06 male students accounted for 115.550, whereas women had 118.675 learners in full-time mode. It is also noteworthy that in 2009/10 the number of male students is shown to be higher than women, contributing 151.275 and 146.980, respectively.
