The given tables illustrate the amount of students in each mode of study after university completion, with the data is divided by genders into 2 tables from 1996 to 2010.
Overall, the number of students in two modes of study for both gender increased over the period, with full-time study experienced a significant rise. Additionally, part-time female students cohort was mostly the highest compared to other groups over the surveyed frametime.
In terms of full-time enrollment, the figure for male students started at about 75 000, which was approximately 13 000 higher than female students in 1996/97. Subsequently, the amount of enrolled students witnessed a steady surge and reached about 150 000 at the end, which was twice higher than the initial data. Meanwhile, there was a similar trend for female as the figure rose gradually and ended at around 147 000.
Concerning the remaining mode of study, both of them started at about 114 000 and 109 000, with the male group was slightly higher. After then, the male student numbers fluctuated, reached a peak of roughly 138 500 in 2005/06 and ended approximately 117 000 in 2009/10. Furthemore, 109 000 female students chose part-time study, which then the figure remarkable rose to around 173 000 in 2005/06, before dropping to approximately 163 000 finally.
