Overall, it can be clearly seen that France spent the largest proportion of total spending, while Japan formed the least share of spending. All countries spent most of their finances on public services.
France was responsible for the most spendings, public spending comprised 8.60% of total 11.40%, and remaining 2.80% for private. Germany and USA followed with 9.30% and 8.60% respectively, which was 7% and 6% for public finance. USA’s private spending formed 2.60%, which was more than Germany’s (2.30%).
By contrast, other two countries made up less proportions, Italy and Japan’s total spending accounted for similar shares, 7.70% and 7.20% respectively. However, for public spending, Japan made up a higher share, 5.80%, while Italy formed 5.30%. The remaining shares of them left to private spending, 2.40% for Italy, and 1.40% for Japan.
