This table shows the number of cars made in some countries, such as Argentina, Australia, and Thailand, from 2003 to 2009.
Overall, among the three countries, Thailand produced the most cars and witnessed a considerable increase; by contrast, production in Australia suffered an almost 50% decline.
In 2003, the number of cars manufactured by Argentina and Thailand was approximately 240,000 and 740,000, respectively. The number of cars manufactured by Argentina grew to 352,759 in 2006, and further rose to 450,000 in 2009. In Thailand, the vehicle production rate peaked at 1,162,356 in 2005, before experiencing a slight decrease at the end of 2009, i.e., 999,963.
Accordingly, the amount of vehicle production in Australia saw a reduction from close to 460,000 in 2003 to nearly 250,000 in 2009 during this period. This was the only country that experienced a reduction in this entire period.
