The table compares the number of motor vehicles per 1000 residents in some countries like the Bahamas, Brazil, Cambodia, Chile, Jordan, Luxembourg, New Zealand and Romania from 1990 to 2000. Overall, almost all countries followed an increasing trend with Brazil and Romania skyrocketing, whereas, the opposite was true for Bahamas and Cambodia.
Regarding Brazil and Romania, in 1990, the number of motor vehicles per 1000 dwellers in Romania was 68 motors, more than 13 cars than Brazil. There was a dramatic increase in the figure of Brazil and Romania in the next ten years, 13580 motors and 8012 motors respectively. Similarly, the number of motor vehicles in Chile, Jordan, Luxemburg and New Zealand experienced a slight rise for one decade.
By contrast, Bahamas had 235 motors in 1990 before decreasing to 187 motors after ten years. The number of motor vehicles in Cambodia had 1 vehicle in 1990, but later stayed unchanged after ten years.
