In general, motor vehicles in most countries tend to go up. Brazil and Romania saw huge increases in the rate of vehicles per population, while Cambodia had the lowest figures of all eight countries in 1990 and 2000.
It can be seen from the table ,in 1990, there were only 55 vehicles per 1000 people in Brazil,which the value soared in 2000 to 13580 vehicles. Moreover, in both years the similar number of vehicles per 1000 was in Cambodia. The highest rate of vehicles per 1000 individuals was found in Luxembourg and New Zealand which was 548 and 531.
By 2000, the figures for Brazil and Romania had increased, reaching 13580 and 8012. Vehicle numbers in Luxembourg and Chile went up slightly to 728 and 88 per 1000 people, while the figure for Jordan tripled. The figures for New Zealand and Cambodia stayed relatively the same, however the number of vehicles per 1000 individuals in the Bahamas dropped to 187.
