This chart illustrates increase of buildings in the US between 2010 and 2014 and their average percentage of change in the period. The change is divided into three years, 2010, 2012, and 2014. Overall, all numbers of buildings based on types increased but they had different percentages of change. Factories and others had huge percentages. Meanwhile, shops and houses had more than ten per cent, warehouses had around eight in percentage.
The factories’ data, which had almost 550,000, reached 680,000 in 2012 and more than 710,000 in 2014, which are more than number of others accross the country. Similarly, the number of other building rose dramatically from 2010 to 2012 then reached to more than 130,000 buildings in 2014, whose percentage is lower than factories’.
The numbers of houses and shops had huge increases in the middle of the period and hit 13 millions and 2.7 millions at the end. The number of houses are larger than the number of shops but had less percentage than the shops’.
The number of warehouses is larger than others but less than numbers of other building types. It has the least percentage, which is less than 10 per cent.
