The table depicts data about new buildings in America across three years: 2010, 2012 and 2014, along with the percentage changes from 2010 to 2014.
At first glance, it can be seen that there was an increase in all of the number of new buldings from 2010 to 2014, with different growth rates.
Summarising from the data of the residential buildings , the number of houses rose from 11.8 million houses in 2010 to 13 million in 2014, growing 10.2% compare to 4 years ago. Similarly, the commercial sector also experienced a jump in the number of constructed shops, went from 2.3 million to 2.7 million during the same period, marking a remarkable growth of 17.4%. Furthermore, factories saw the most impressive growth out of five listed buildings (30,8%) , ascended from only 540 thousand to 709 thousand
in the same period of the previous two buildings.
On the other hand, while warehouses also saw an increase, but it was negligible compared to the other four, the number of warehouses increased from 384 thousand in 2010 to 416 thousand by 2014, recording an increase of just 8,3%. Additionally, other building saw a noticeable expansion as their figures went from 106,000 to 131 from 2010 to 2014, having a great growth of 23.5%.
