Overall, professors were the dominant job in 2015, while the reverse is true for office managers. Furthermore, the same pattern holds true for the 2025 projection, with office managers having the lowest employment and professors having the most. In addition, all occupations, namely professors, hospitality, education, office managers, and retail trade, are experiencing a positive change, while cleaner is the only job with a decline in employment.
In 2015, the most employed occupation was professors with 2.785.000 workers, and it is estimated to rise to 2.868.550, which is a 3% increase. Additionally, retail traders, which were employed by 1.785.000 people, are expected to rise by 3.5% to employ 1.847.475 people. Following that, 1.475.000 people were reported to be employed in the education sector. In the next 10 years, the figure for it is projected to have a 4% climb to 1.534.000.
Regarding the remaining occupations, cleaners and hospitality had 1.321.000 and 1.235.000 workers in 2015, respectively. While the latter is projected to have a 8% increase to 1.333.800 people, the former is seeing a 1% decline to 1.221.000 people. Lastly, the figure for office managers was 1.235.000 workers, and it is forecasted to rise to 1.170.750 people, which is a 5% increase.
