Overall, over the years, reading dominated among grown individuals specifically in rural areas. In contrast, least amount was spent on animated play, indicating a smaller number of adult participation in urban localities.
In 1990, both urban and rural sectors contribute significantly towards reading, accounting for a higher figure of 71% and 61% where urban areas lead slightly ahead. Notably, playing was the second highest form of engagement in both urban and rural places, comprising of 21% and 26% respectively. Meanwhile, particularly photography were pursued to a smaller extent of 7% and minor elevation by an additional 7% in urban districts. In urban parts, one in tenth were likely to be involved in animated play whereas rural zones showed comparatively increased interest(18%).
In 2010, reading remained consistent to 78%, a further increase from the former year. However, a decrease in activities by 7% is present in urban areas while remaining a consistent figure in rural sectors. Photography saw a rise in proportion by 10% in both parts. Finally, animated play saw a dip by 4% in rural areas and stayed the same in urban locale (10%).
