The table displays a comparison of participants of four different free time activities in rural and urban areas in 1990 and 2010.
Overall, the data shows a clear difference between the two groups of people and their preferences. In 1990, the number signifies that people in rural area are more active in doing their hobbies compared to people in urban areas. For example, compared to people in rural area, only half of the population in urban area do photography during their free time. This conclusion is also deducted from other numbers on the table that displays the same gap more or less.
Overtime, the data does not support any significant changes as in 2010, numbers of people in doing free time activities are still more dominant than number of people in urban area. One noticeable change that could be highlighted is the increasing number of readers in Urban area. Compared to 1990, more people has started to read during their free time in 2010.
