The table illustrates the proportion of first year students from three courses who bestowed “very good” rating on the resources provided by their college.
Overall, while almost economic and commerce students were content with all the resources, their law counterparts exhibited varied approval rates. In particular, teaching and tutor services received most positive feedbacks compared to the remaining categories.
Looking first to teaching and tutor services, 95% of economic and commerce students satisfied with the former aspect. However, only 62% of their law peers bestowed “very good” rating on teaching services. Similar pattern was seen in tutor services, with economic and commerce students expressed more satisfaction (90% and 93%, respectively) than their law counterparts (76%).
Turning to the remaining categories, approximately 60% members of economics rated “very good” to pre-course information and other resources. Meanwhile, these ares received positive feedbacks from 72% and 80% of laws counterparts, and 95% and 81% of commerce peers. However, printed resources echoed the same pattern observed in teaching and tutor services, with around 83% of economics and commerce students pleased with the resources, while law counterparts were less enthusiastic (only 70%).
